Hello cyberspace and welcome to another episode of Vampyre Leygh. I’m your host, Leygh. Today’s topic will be the bisexual male.
As almost everyone who has seen a previous episode will know that I am a bisexual female and I’m a part of Utah’s gay rights movement. If you already have an opinion on gay rights, I promise I am not trying to change it. This is not an episode about gay rights. It is specifically about the bisexual male.
Looking back over all my current and past friends/acquaintances I notice a few things:
1. Almost all the people I know either know they’re gay, think they’re gay, or are experimenting with homosexuality
2. A lot of the girls I know are bisexual
3. I only know two men that have come out of the closet as bisexuals
Which leaves me to wonder: in the dozens of people I have met over the years, why are only two of the men I know are bisexual?
Now, your situation may be quite different from mine. You may know a million bisexual men. In fact you may even be one yourself. But why are they so often over-looked?
The gay community is the most supportive group of people I personally have ever met. But when it comes to straights (or even part of the community itself) talk about our society why do they almost always forget/lack to mention the bisexual males?
